BuddyWoking & District

No day is complete without a Buddy cuddle accompanied by a look into your eyes that melts your heart. Some playtime including the hiding of a few treats completes the purrfect day.
If you meet our adorable boy Buddy you’ll find it hard to believe he is the same cat we took into our care as a grey and black bruiser of a tom with the odd battle scar. He is now so proud of his healthy white and black coat and enjoys grooming himself along with regular short grooms from his human slaves.

He’s a gentle boy. He loves company and laps up affection especially if it involves snuggling up on a comfy warm lap with some chat thrown in. Buddy is a also very clever cat and gets a lot of pleasure from playing with his interactive toys and assorted squeaky mice.

Buddy is a special cat seeking a very special forever home with a special adopter. He has been confirmed as FIV positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Feline FIV is not contagious to people or other species of animals.
Buddy needs a home where he can be the only cat or join a younger, friendly, FIV positive companion. Since he’s been used to living in the great outdoors for a couple of years, most likely abandoned, his ideal home will provide him with access to a cat proof enclosed garden or a safe outdoor run (so that he doesn’t meet other cats.) If there’s no safe outdoor space he can access he will need a secure indoor only home, a safe and spacious environment in which plenty of stimulation is provided.
If you would like to learn more about FIV and what it means for a cat and an owner there is a Cats Protection Guide available to be downloaded from the Veterinary Guides section of the CP website
